The Stone Tablet necklace takes the shape of three rectangular panels descending in a line, drawn from the sunken city of Thonis Heracleion, lost off the coast of Egypt for over a thousand years until divers found it submerged near Alexandria, its temples, statues and inscribed stone tablets still intact beneath the water, including a decree stele that had lain on the seabed legible after centuries underwater. Beer Quartz and Smoky Quartz hold the sediment toned haze of stone seen through deep water, their warm brown catching light the way sunken tablets do when a diver's torch finds them, while Black Onyx at the base carries the dark silt the city eventually settled into, the last surface before the seabed itself. Stone Tablet holds that same layered descent, tablet resting on tablet the way a city once stood on land and now stands submerged, its record still legible, still catching light through water that swallowed it whole but did not erase it.
