Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). This rather mundane but beautiful plant has been used for many purposes. The roots are dried and ground for coffee, the leaves are included in salads, flowers are used for wine making, and the leaves and roots for medicinal purposes. The design is a supreme example of the care and patience required in its production and was awarded the Tarian Label by the Design Council. In the U.K., children are told that however many times they have to blow the seeds to disperse them all, then that is the time, hence "Dandelion Clock". - Material: Resin and real flowers
